the analysis of the text by emma zunz demonstrates that the qualities of the character are not complementary. the question of the identity of the protagonist is not an autonomous and separate conception. emma is a poor girl, lacking in education, lacking in money. she is given to the executioner for money. that is the reason why she must act as a character of a bourgeois character. a character who must live in a reality of possibilities. emma zunz moves towards the ideal, which is the freedom of love. the protagonists narrative ends in the murder of the evil. in the final moment, the hero is embodied in the masculine subject. emma zunz is female.
