Before you install GLIDE
To install GLIDE, you’ll need:
A Windows Vista (or later) computer with its administrative rights.
Python 2.7 or higher in any of the supported programming languages.

First Install Python 2.7:
Open the Microsoft Windows Control Panel and install the latest version of Python 2.7 (version 2.7 or above).
Now install GLIDE
Download “GLIDE Library,” change to the directory you downloaded it to, and run the install.bat file:
“C:\Program Files\GLIDE\bin> C:\root\GLIDE-2.0.5\install.bat”
The installation file should produce the following message:
The GLIDE SDK has been installed in the PATH environment variable, you can start using it.

Using OpenGLBitmapView. The OpenGLBitmapView uses OpenGL to display a canvas of pixels. The bitmap has no antialiasing, no scaling or rotating etc. By default, the OpenGLBitmapView is just like an imageview. Your normal imageview where the bitmap is located on top of each other.

If you double click on the header of a window, it will be docked on the left side of the screen.
