This app creates a series of LED flashes for seconds ranging from 0 – 99 which are heard to an Audio Player for every single FLASH. Each FLASH is 4 seconds in length so the User can choose whether or not to have 5 FLASH per song or just 1 FLASH per song.
After CountDown you can have 1 – 99 song options for play with each countdown timed from 0 – 99 with a song playing the entire time. User has the ability to choose which song goes first so that each song is played for a different amount of time.
You can have up to 6 songs playing at once with a song starting before another song finishes playing. You can choose how fast the songs are to be played. This can be accelerated, slow, or slowest and fastest.
It has the ability to have 4 distinct songs with 4 distinct FLASHES within each song. The User can adjust how much of the song to have played in each FLASH. This can be a 100% – 0% complete in each FLASH. It also has the ability to have 1 song with 6 FLASHES.

As I’m new to VB.NET I am looking for someone with at least 10 years of experience to review this app and give me feedback on it and the functionality.

The app is being developed for Microsoft Windows (XP, Vista, 7, 8, 10).

We don’t know what to put for the key for all the songs to have the exact same playback speed.

The user can hear a song starting before the previous song has finished playing.

The user can chose from 5 or 6 song and not 4 songs.

We have changed the animation but it has the same issue.

We have changed the animation and started new timers to have 1 new song start when the other song finishes.

In this project you will design an application to control your home thermostat. The application needs to allow the user to set the temperature for the whole house,
and select the temperature at which the alarm will go off. The alarm can also be turned on and off manually by the user.
You can design the application using any technology. You may prefer to use any technology that you are already familiar with. The choice is yours.
1. Provide at least two of your own background images.
2. Provide at least one of your own foreground images.
3. You can use any image for the alarm sounds.
4. The alarm must be heard continuously.
5. When the alarm is set to be off the screen must be blank.
6. When the alarm is set to be on the screen must show the alarm sound.
7. When the user presses the ‘ALARM’ button the application must do the following:
a. Set the alarm temperature to something other than to the normal user selected temperature.
b. Change the alarm sound to the alarm sound that you specified in your project.
c. Set the alarm to be on.
d. Start counting down from the user selected temperature.
8. When the countdown is complete it must alarm again.
9. In the count-down screen the alarm sound must be heard continuously.
10. In the count-down screen the alarm must remain on until the user presses the ‘OK’ button.
11. In the count-down screen the alarm button must be disabled.
12. The application must support voice activation so that if the user is using the application on a touch screen then they can just simply say “ON” or “OFF” to set the alarm.
13. The alarm must also be set from the application itself.
14. In the project’s source code you must include the alarm and text files.
15. You must make a walkthrough or video to demonstrate how the application works and how to use it.
16. You may only use standard controls to implement your application.
17. You may use any other background image that you want.
