FSX – Carenado Mooney Hack Working

as you know, i am using the 750 panel. i am not using the synth panel. the carenado panel is complete and very nice. my panel looks very close to the panel from freewaregns. however, i use a texture pack called perfected panel. it includes the panel from freewaregns with the additions from the carenado panel and more. you can click on the link for the perfected panel.

fwiw, i had the same problem. apparently it was a bug that made its way from somewhere, and in my case to a second simulator, where it then got saved in a configuration. the trick is to delete the configuration and save a new one. then it works. i was flying a cert. at the time.
i don’t know if it’s the same bug, but i know carenado has stopped offering the c172. the hack works with my carenado c172n. i also read about a problem of the carenado not accepting the panel.cfg hack as i recall.
so you might try that.

everything is working perfectly here. i tested this on two different computers, and both work perfectly. and on the ipad version, everything is working.
if you ever run into a problem, then just look for a xt_p.xml file in your config/panel folder and put that one in.
i have not worked much with the mooney’s. just got them a few weeks ago. but i am impressed so far. i do plan to get some of the carenado planes in the future. i just wanted to get my hands on a mooney. they look like great planes. and they have an interesting side air intake.
but, i must say, your hidden controls are awesome! i didn’t know you could do this, and i may add this to my scheming for future aircraft. i have also been experimenting with the ipad and trying to create scenarios. but i have been stuck with the problem that airplane creation has been bugged for the past two months at least. anyone know how to fix this.

the plane flies fine, the ap control forces (on the nose wheel) feel very responsive and not too heavy. the plane feels like a fighter plane. i’m sure i can get the basic ias to work, just need to get it working for the ipad so i can see if the ap works. if it’s not working on the ipad i can’t really do much to it from my ipad.
i have the same issue. i’ve been using the plane for a week now. i got it working on my ipad but it’s unresponsive to the ap. on my android tablet i can’t get the basic ap to work but the plane flies great. i feel like i’m working against the plane with no real way to really fine tune the controls. if i manually trim the controls, it flies awesome, but the ap is always off.
i have a similar issue. the basic ap control forces seem to be working on the ipad when i navigate away from the ap, but when i return to the ap it immediately becomes unresponsive and chases the trim. with the settings i’ve set for the plane, i can’t find a setting to allow the ap to stick with the plane. changing the trim all the way to very aggressive, changing the trim all the way to very light, etc. does nothing. for example, my model sits at ~3700 ft with the ap at ~1200 ft, so it’s more than halfway there, but the ap can’t even tell when the nose is entering the ground. i’m flying with adsb on, and at first, when i lost adsb, the plane would occasionally lose autopilot, but as i continued flying, i didn’t lose autopilot again. i switched to ils, and lost the autopilot again. i switched back to adsb, and the autopilot was back. i’ve flown a few times since then, and autopilot is back every time.
