Every running process uses some amount of system resources, depending on what type of data they need to handle and how. Your CPU dictates how fast computation is done, and Windows decides what the best distribution is in order to keep performance balanced. However, specialized applications like Process Lasso Server put you in control of distribution, also displaying usage and other details.
Analyze processes and save logs
When the application starts, you're overwhelmed with a rich window that displays real time updating info on CPU use, as well as processes with all there is to know about them, such as user, restraint history, application name, rules, priority, affinity, and other memory and CPU related fields.
Bringing up the context menu puts you in charge of considerable more options that the task manager lets you handle. Amongst others, you can set class, affinity and memory priority, limit the number of instances, make it restart upon termination, prevent it from running, classify as game or enable hard throttling. If you don't want to risk accidentally messing up system processes, you can always switch to the active processes tab to view only applications you're currently using.
In case you're computer's processor is under a lot of pressure, chances are that changes are instantly visible. A detailed graph displays real time updating CPU usage, percentage used per thread, as well as RAM load. Gathered data is logged, with the possibility to view and save as CSV.
Thoroughly configure distribution
On the other hand, you don't have to go through management by yourself, because the application is equipped with several preset configurations such as ProBalance, SmartTrim, IdleSaver and Gaming mode. It's also possible to save your own setting to use as profiles.
All of them can be thoroughly configured, with an abundance of options to go through like excluded processes, whether or not to act on foreground processes, those of non-normal priority, system services, set CPU affinity during restrains, have power plan changed for more performance and even auto-engaging the gaming mode when playing on Steam.
In fact, there is such a large variety of customization available that you might just be tempted to stick with default settings. All the application can handle is subject to change, from default CPU and I/O priorities and foreground boost, to process watchdog, instance count limit or anti-sleep processes. Enthusiasts even have the possibility to tweak configurations right from the root through an option that opens the corresponding INI file.
A few last words
To sum it up, Process Lasso Server is not meant for just anyone, although its set of features is comprehensive enough. Everything using CPU is monitored and given full control over, with the possibility to even go through preset configurations to perfectly balance distribution or get the most out of your computer's processor. There's also the portable version in case it tickles your fancy.
To use the beta, unstable version of Process Lasso, you can perform an update from the main app window of the stable version. "Updates" menu -> "Include beta versions" and then "Updates" menu -> "Check for Updates Now".

Usage of namespace directives in an assembly
I have created a namespace in a target assembly and am able to use it in the project. Now I want to use it in the target assembly so I can create a dll from it to distribute.
It seems if I define the namespace in the application or if I use it in a.cs file it is fine. But I am unable to use the namespace in the target assembly.
If the namespace is a C# extension, it is creating the target assembly in the App_Code folder, when you reference the dll in the main project.
I don’t want this. I am using this file as a dll and want to put it in a folder. The error I get is: The type or namespace name ‘xxx’ could not be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)
From my searching, I think the file is created to allow use of classes in a public top-level package in the assembly.
What is the best way to do this? Is it possible to create a folder under App_Code and then have it use that file in it?
Edit:
I am creating a.net 4.0 VB app.
Here is a code example:
in Target.vb file:
Option Strict On
Imports TheAppName.Model
Public Class Target
Public Sub Main()
Dim tbl As New Employees(Of Employee)(“work”)
tbl.AddEmployee(New Employee() With {.FirstName = “John”,.LastName = “Smith”})

Sechunt is a utility that creates self-extracting executable files. But you needn’t just to rename downloaded files for more convenient usage. There’s a lot more you can do with Sechunt. Amongst others you can alter the default settings, view the installation…1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a machine tool and a cutting tool head equipped with an insert.
2. Description of the Related Art
Machine tools equipped with an insert may be provided with an insert receiving hole, into which the insert is inserted, and a bearing surface formed between the insert and the insert receiving hole. The insert is guided with a supporting element, for example, a securing screw, which is passed through the insert receiving hole, and in addition, the bearing surface, and held in a preset position. During machining, the insert is used to shape the cutting edge or tool edge. The area of the insert, which is frequently contacted with the work piece or material is customarily ground flat in order to facilitate the contact with the work piece. As a result, the insert is supported with a bearing surface, which has a very small diameter, wherein wear of the insert is to be expected. In addition, the thinned bearing surface entails a comparatively great mechanical stress at the insert.
This problem is reduced by known solutions. German document DE 10 2004 012 117 A1, which is incorporated herein by reference, discloses a machine tool and a cutting tool head, which may include a nose element, which is formed with a thin wall. During machining, the nose element is intended to compensate for unevennesses of the support surfaces of the insert. For this purpose, the nose element may comprise a partial wall, which is formed to be thinner than the full wall of the insert and is provided with cutting elements in order to introduce the individual cutting elements into the material being machined. What’s New in the Process Lasso Server?
Are you tired of having almost nothing to do with your processor? Have you been constantly concerned about the usage of your CPU and how your computer can handle additional processes? Have you always wanted to take control of your system, and monitor its behavior the way you want it to? Are you seeking a way to boost the performance of your computer? Have you always wished you knew how to properly manage the behavior of your computer in every situation? All of these questions and more can be answered with Process Lasso. It is a Linux utility that will give you several useful options regarding distribution and performance. This utility will make sure the CPU is always used optimally to its fullest. It will ensure a fast performance of your computer as well as its stability. If you do not need to give up the entire control of your system to the distribution application, then you should certainly give it a try!
Aside from just having a nice and clean interface for monitoring and managing your distribution, it has a complete history of each of your utilization. You can easily navigate through this history, and also have the ability to export data to spreadsheets and keep up with the process history. Process Lasso includes a scheduler, which is an essential part of this software. You can quickly begin various applications and start without affecting the performance of the rest of the system.
This utility will not only allow you to monitor CPU usage, but it will also allow you to compare it on a few different levels. You can compare CPU usage between different users or groups of users, as well as system, or compare CPU usage in real time. You can also view the process list, by process, or processes, by affinity. You will be amazed at how this software allows you to monitor CPU usage on a couple of different levels, all the while being a scheduler that monitors the allocation of the processor, so that when applications are finished, you will be able to instantly view your CPU usage, and even have the option to shut down your computer altogether.
Designed in a neat and elegant manner, Process Lasso is very easy to use. The interface is minimal, but intuitive. It allows you to monitor CPU usage, as well as system processes on several levels. You can set the priority of CPU usage, whether the processor should be shared or reserved for certain applications, and what settings are included in the scheduler. You can also change the sensitivity of the tool and have it shut down the computer if necessary.
This tool has a few important options, like what priority should
