I’m not up to speed on Unity. I’ve played an RPG called Limbo of the Lost Souls that looked like if it had a very small part of the Unity engine in it. Limbo was what I think Unity uses. If you guys are reading this, then I owe you a review. I have not played this game yet.

First off, you are attempting to do so much. I can’t see how you can do this much. You have an online RPG with turn based combat. You have a New Game+ feature. You have a beginning game with the obligatory tutorial. You have a bunch of items. You have a lot of combat. You have a big world to explore. I expect to take a long time to get to the combat. I expect to take a long time to get past the beginning. I expect some more combat. I expect to spend more time making trades in the beginning. I expect to spend some time with the tutorial. That’s my plan.

Do you expect people to spend more time with the tutorial?

Firstly, what do you mean by New Game+? In what ways can you not play New Game+?

Have you played other Fire Tower RPGs, or is this your first Fire Tower RPG?

I wonder why so much emphasis is placed on the beginning.

It’s probably a common problem with RPG developers. On paper there is no reason to waste so much time with such an RPG, but the reality is that it’s too easy. You start off like a train wreck. You have a lot of bad beginning content and the beginning content that is done well is just something that happens to you. Many people have had bad experiences with the beginning of Fire Tower. It’s a shame. If people had good experiences with the beginning of Fire Tower then those people would just play the game and skip the tutorial. However, if you have a bad time playing the game, then you will never want to play Fire Tower in the future. Fire Tower has such a huge chunk of content in the beginning.
