Restart is a lightweight Windows solution that does exactly what its name suggests: it restarts the computer at a user defined time.
Quick action through tray menu options
While also being capable of rebooting the system with a simple double-click on the System Tray icon, Restart can also shut down the computer with the help of the scheduling utility that also comprises a few other goodies to enhance the whole process.
There’s no actual interface of the program, but a simple menu accessible via the tray icon.
Restart lets you configure an action to be performed with a double click on this icon, be it restart, shutdown or schedule, but also launch the app at startup or use a simplified menu.
Set up scheduling for unattended tasks
The scheduling feature however is the ace up its sleeve, as it allows you to schedule an operation for a later time. There are multiple options at your disposal, including restart, shutdown, standby, hibernate and restart to another operating system in case multiple ones are installed on your system.
Plus, you can force processes to terminate and show a warning message for a user-defined time before the action is performed.
Restart works like a charm on all Windows iterations on the market and doesn’t slow down the system at all, without requiring administrator privileges on Windows 7 workstations.
To end with
All things considered, Restart does its job and doesn’t require advanced computer knowledge to take the most out of its features. A simple interface and very intuitive features are addressed to both beginners and those more experienced.

How to remove unwanted spaces after tabbing?

I am using Vim and I have the following problem:
I have created the following text:
// count down
const BOTTOM_RIGHT = document.querySelector(‘.bottom_right’);
BOTTOM_RIGHT.addEventListener(‘click’, this.countDown);
const button = document.querySelector(‘.countdown’);
const countDownInterval = setInterval(this.countDown, 1000);

In this case the tabbing won’t remove the space after ‘BOTTOM_RIGHT’ as shown below

However if I just re-write the entire code like this then the tabbing works properly:
// count down
const BOTTOM_RIGHT = document.querySelector(‘.bottom_right’);
BOTTOM_RIGHT.addEventListener(‘click’, this.countDown);
const button = document.querySelector(‘.countdown’);
const countDownInterval = setInterval(this.countDown, 1000);

Can anyone explain to me why the first code is not working, and give me a way to fix this?

A:

The space is caused by spaces in your variable names. The following two snippets have the same behavior:
const a = 123;
const b = 123;
console.log(b + a); // 123

and
const a = 123;
const b = 123;
console.log(b + a); // 132

The two variables have the same value, and thus their fields have the same content. When you print the two variables they behave differently, because of how the computer stores the bytecode.
A better solution to remove spaces is to use the interpolation syntax for string literals, which looks like this:
const a = ‘123’;

Windows 8.1 has been officially released today and we are just saying goodbye to Windows 8 in our IT company and it is now time to set the scene for Windows 10. There is a lot to mention about the new release and we are going to talk about it in the next month. The first things that you should take a look at are the new Start screen in Windows 8, the release of Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. According to Microsoft, these new operating systems are better than the previous version but there are still some errors that will be worked on. One of the most important issues is the Start screen that should be improved.

Start Screen

Without a doubt, we should talk about the Start screen which, according to Microsoft, is the new face of Windows. This new design is as minimalist as possible, with the biggest change being the absence of the rounded corners. If you have used Windows 7 for a while, then you will notice that the transition is very easy, but if you have used a touch-device as your main operating system, then you will understand how it is possible to make the biggest change from the first start screen to the new one. So, it is time to say goodbye to the classic Windows. The new interface looks similar to iOS. The best thing is that you don’t need a touch-screen to see it since there is no ‘tap’ functionality in it.

Start Menu

The new Start menu consists of some familiar icons like mail, control panel, settings, device manager, calculator, search and some others. Unlike Windows 8, in which you had to click on the settings icon to enter the settings menu, it has a new look, feel and function and will most likely be the easiest way to access the settings menu. In an interview, Microsoft’s Chief of Product Management, Joe Belfiore, mentioned that the idea was to make the start menu simpler and easier to use.

Windows Media Player

If you think that this is all that Microsoft has done to Windows, then you are wrong. They have also changed a few other aspects. For example, on Windows 8 you had a few different media players that could be used in your system. In Windows 8.1, Microsoft has removed some of them

System Requirements:

Windows XP SP3 or later
Intel Pentium 4 3GHz or faster
256MB video memory
3D graphics card such as Nvidia 7600/GeForce 8800 Ultra
Windows Vista or later
Intel Core 2 Duo processor or faster
Windows 7 or later
3D graphics card such as Nvidia 7600/GeForce 8800
