Based on and which are based on answers to I’ve discovered the following:
I’ve been testing the game with OS X in Xcode 5 using beta3 of iOS 8.3.
I’ve been testing the game using the latest version of Xcode 6.1 (also using beta3 of iOS 8.3) and the latest version of the iOS simulator (8.3 beta 3) on a MacBook.
I’ve been testing using the Xcode debugger and navigating to the bookmarks described in the above two answers.
When I use the show active breakpoints with the debugger, I can see that when I use the arrow keys in the iOS simulator to move from one breakpoint to another, it pauses exactly at the right point.
The game seems to be open source and has many development branch. Some of the branches use Lua, some use JRuby.
One of the JRuby branches is rather archaic and doesn’t work when iOS 8.3 is not being used.
Google Code for the game is under the CMU License, which is similar to the MIT License.

Based on the above, I think that a port of the game is possible. It’s a neat world to escape from, and it’s a free self-contained game, except for the game engines.

RUINS Survival Features Key:
- 15 different opponents. The fist enemy is the easiest one, and the last one is the hardest. Each are completely unique with different abilities and health levels.
- If you lose a life, you get to keep your experience points. So, no matter how hard you beat your opponent, there’s always a chance that you can get a better weapon or new experience points to try again!
- You are given three lives (the last one is recharged every time you win a fight). Lost your lives? Then you have to find a way to restart your game with all your experience points intact
- After each game, you can select the difficulty (from easy to hard). The more difficult you want your game to be, the more experience points you get to keep. It’s up to you if you want to win more lives or more experience.
- You can also reset your score.
- New weapons, bombs, grenades and even enemies make their appearance every now and then
- Buying your new weapon is always a nice idea
- Save your game with the help of the save button

Single-Player mode Campaign, player can choose one of six characters from three classes of:
