i have been playing violin for just a few years. my teacher, who has been teaching me for years, had used this book and also other books, but she didn’t really explain the exercises very well. so the only thing i knew about these exercises was that they helped you to play the violin. i decided to give it a try and i like it very much. it is a bit long, but it is very interesting and i find it very useful.

although this book is very simple to read, it is also very detailed. it has everything you need to learn on your way to the next level of your playing. it goes through scales, arpeggios, and different types of technique. the charts have nice illustrations that show you how the sound should be.
